Our Story
IGE Entertainment is a full-service event entertainment provider based in New York City. From retail promotions and corporate parties to private affairs, for more than 15 years we’ve been a partner in creating high-impact, memorable experiences, whether you’re looking for a single performer or a themed event.

Meet David IGE
David Ige began performing professionally at the age of five in his native Honolulu, and quickly achieved success in TV and movies. After studying in London and touring the world with numerous stage productions, he moved to New York City to audition, perform, and teach. At Pier Studios, he was able to share his experience as a child star with new young actors (and served on the studio’s Board of Directors.)
Like many actors, David worked for top NYC catering companies, where his leadership skills quickly led to management positions, including a stint as Head of In-House Catering at Christie’s Auction House.
David’s tact and poise also earned him a top spot at the brand-new Four Seasons concierge desk, where he provided world-class service to a who’s who of demanding customers with the same easygoing good humor—call it the aloha spirit—that he brings to everything he does.
Meanwhile, inspired by street performers in New York City, David began to add some new tricks to his repertoire of skills. An avid surfer like his father, David’s natural athleticism lent itself to skills like juggling and stilt-walking, and he found that circus arts were a great way to stay in touch with audiences and fellow performers alike.
David’s “a-ha” moment came when he realized that he could bring it all together—his love for performing, his creativity, and his entrepreneurial drive—in Ige Entertainment. As the company grows and thrives, David remains focused on offering the kind of personalized service that makes every event a seamless success.
David lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter whose favorite balloon artist creation moved from Hello Kitty to fashion accessories like earrings, bracelets and dresses.
